The 'Very Cavallari' star opens up about her dramatic weight loss during her troubled marriage and how she's found peace and strength in her new lifestyle and romance.

AceShowbiz - Kristin Cavallari is no stranger to the public eye, and she has been candid about the challenges she faced during a particularly turbulent time in her life. The 37-year-old reality star, known from "The Hills" and her own show "Very Cavallari," revealed that her significant weight loss during the filming of her series was due to immense stress and unhappiness experienced in her marriage to former NFL player Jay Cutler.

In a fan Q&A on her "Let's Be Honest With Kristin Cavallari" podcast, Cavallari shared, "I was very thin. I'll put it in perspective for you guys. I'm 5'3". I currently weigh 114 pounds. Filming 'Very Cavallari,' I got down to 102, and I was eating the same amount of food that I'm eating now."

She attributed the drastic change not to diet but to her emotional and mental state at the time. "The difference was I was so unhappy and so stressed out. I look back at photos from that time period and I am like, 'Holy s**t.' I was rail f**king thin. I was skin and bones. I looked like s**t," she admitted.

The mother of three, who was married to Cutler from 2013 to 2020, explained that the strain of their unhappy union took a toll on her physical health. "That was just stress. That was being in a really unhappy marriage, quite honestly. Literally, I was so unhappy, and I had way too much on my plate," she said.

The couple, who share children Camden, Jaxon, and Saylor, announced their split in April 2020, emphasizing their mutual respect but acknowledging they were growing apart.

Since her divorce, Cavallari has concentrated on restoring her health and well-being. "Now, I'm just taking care of myself in so many more ways too," she shared on her podcast. She now works out frequently, emphasizing the consistency required to maintain muscle on her petite frame.

"I work out with a trainer one day a week, lifting really heavy weights. And then I usually work out three to four [other] times. So I work out four to five times a week, one time with a trainer. I lift weights on my own two to three more times.”

In addition to physical fitness, Cavallari has found happiness in her personal life with TikTok star Mark Estes. The couple publicly confirmed their relationship earlier this year and have shared their budding romance across social media. "I'm really happy with it, obviously. We just like each other a lot and that's what we're going to run with," Estes told ET at the CMT Music Awards in April.

Cavallari's journey from a stressful, unhappy marriage to a healthier, more fulfilling life serves as a powerful reminder of the profound impact mental and emotional well-being can have on physical health. Her story continues to inspire young people navigating their own paths to wellness and happiness.
