AceShowbiz - On June 6, legendary actress Diane Keaton graced the presence of Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney's newly opened sandwich shop, "Something About Her". The 78-year-old posed with Katie's mother, Teri, in a photo shared on Instagram Stories.
The shop's menu is a tribute to romantic comedy stars, featuring sandwiches named after Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore, Meg Ryan and even Keaton herself. Keaton's namesake sandwich, "The Diane",is made with Sicilian tuna salad, dill, olive oil, sunflower microgreens, preserved lemon, and marinated fennel on an artisan baguette.
"Something About Her" is more than just a sandwich shop; it's a visual masterpiece inspired by Nancy Meyers' signature cinematic style. Production designer Jon Hutman, who worked on Meyers' "Something's Gotta Give" starring Keaton, brought the charming Parisian café atmosphere to life with Maloney's guidance.
After setbacks with permits and logistics, Maloney and Madix finally opened their doors on May 22. They have since been supported by fellow Bravo stars Andy Cohen, Stassi Schroeder and Kyle Cooke, among others.
Beyond the celebrity clientele, the shop has also become a favorite of Katie's "Vanderpump Rules" co-star, Tom Schwartz. Despite being an ex, Schwartz has visited the establishment to show his support.
Keaton's visit is a full-circle moment, as she embodies the romantic comedy aesthetic that has inspired the shop's concept. Her presence solidifies the connection between "Something About Her" and the genre that has enchanted countless moviegoers.
