AceShowbiz - Ice-T can't fathom Lenny Kravitz's decision to be celibate for nine years. The rapper-turned-actor can't help expressing his disbelief after the singer got candid on the reason why he has practiced sexual abstinence for a long time.
Following Lenny's interview with The Guardian, where he opened up about his personal life, the longtime series regular of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" took to X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday, May 30 to roast the rocker. Not holding himself back, the married star wrote, "9yrs without Sex? F that BS. Weirdo s**t." When someone pointed out that Lenny is in "his own journey," Ice-T replied, "F that Journey.... lol."
In an interview published earlier that day, it was revealed that Lenny has "not been in a serious relationship for nine years." The interviewer, Simon Hattenstone, mentioned that the "Let Love Rule" hitmaker previously told him that he "wanted to be celibate until [he] found the right woman." When asked if he was serious when he said that, the ex-husband of Lisa Bonet replied, "Yes. It's a spiritual thing."
According to the outlet, Lenny said "he'd love to be in a relationship now, but he thinks he might struggle." Of the reason why, the 60-year-old explained, "I have become very set in my ways, in the way I live."
Lenny, who still swoons women with his fit physique at his age, went on reflecting growing older. "I can barely believe it myself. But it's beautiful," he admitted. Of how he remains gorgeous in his early 60s, the singer shared, "It's a combination of genes, self-care, hard work and discipline."
Lenny, who has treated his Instagram followers to his thirst-traps, might have once again realized his charm during an interview with Gayle King for "CBS Mornings". During the sit-down earlier this month, the host shot her shot with him.
"Do you have a significant other in your life? And can I beat her a*s if she is?" Gayle joked, eliciting laughter and a bashful smile from Lenny. While the father of Zoe Kravitz admitted to being "open" to love, he emphasized his belief that "when you don't look is when you find it." He reflected on his readiness for a relationship, saying, "I thought I was ready, right? But now, I can say that I've never felt how I feel now."
