AceShowbiz - Brittany Mahomes looked fit despite having a short period of time to get ready for her photo session. The retired professional soccer player revealed that she shot her steamy Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue debut on "literally a week's notice."
The 28-year-old former athlete opened up about her preparation for her debut photoshoot with the magazine. Taking to her Instagram page, she made a shocking revelation about the time she had to get fit before conducting the photo session.
In the caption of her new post, Brittany spilled, "People have asked me a lot what I did in the gym to get 'Swimsuit Ready'. Fun fact - I shot for @si_swimsuit on literally a week's notice," adding a face with tongue emoji.
The wife of NFL star Patrick Mahomes went on to unveil her secret, "I always preach that staying consistent in the gym and fueling my body well is what helps me be the best version of myself year-round, not just during swimsuit season!"
Brittany further shared the details of her workout routine, "Here's a simple but effective leg day for ya: Single leg deadlifts, Pause squat (I used a dumbbell), Curtsey lunge w pulse, Banded hip thrust, Refuel with @liveowyn #liveowyn."
In the same post, Brittany uploaded a video from her daily exercise at the gym. In the short clip, it could be seen that she was working on her whole body, mostly her legs. At one point, she was filmed doing squats with a dumbbell.
The mother of two flaunted her fit physique, rocking a sporty green crop top and a pair of matching leggings. As she styled her long blonde tresses in a sleek ponytail, she put on a pair of black sneakers, a gray wrist watch, gold bracelet and matching necklace.
The post came a few weeks after Brittany treated her followers to a series of pictures from the fiery photoshoot. Along with the steamy snaps, she voiced her gratitude, "What an absolute dream to join the incredible @si_swimsuit family! I'm so grateful for the amazing team of women who give us this incredible platform to be our truest most authentic selves!"
