AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles has left many disappointed due to her unrecognizable look in new country-themed pictures. The "Texas Hold 'Em" hitmaker received many unpleasant comments after her pictures from a recent photo session with a magazine were shared online.
On Friday, April 5, the official Instagram account of W Magazine uploaded a series of snaps from its photoshoot with the 42-year-old superstar. In the pictures, it could be seen that she was striking a number of poses in a horse farm.
Queen Bey was pictured posing next to a tall brown-and-white horse, which appeared to be taller than her. In one of the photos, she was captured seemingly interacting with the horse from a very close position. While adoringly gazing at the animal, she placed one of her hands on its chin.
Another picture saw the "Break My Soul" hitmaker apparently taking the horse on a walk. She was photographed standing a distance in front of the horse while holding its leash. While spreading her legs, she looked straight at the camera and showed a stern facial expression.
For the photo session, Beyonce looked stunning in a nearly all-brown ensemble. She opted to wear nothing under a brown blazer that came with a very plunging V neckline. The suit had a fitted design, two long sleeves, light blue buttons and several graphics in a different shade of brown.
The "16 CARRIAGES" songstress completed the look with a pair of long matching tailored pants with a wide-leg design. Similar to the top, the trousers also had graphics on their front sides. She also rocked a matching cowgirl hat and a pair of pointed-toe high heels.
The wife of Jay-Z accessorized herself with a number of rings and a pair of gold earrings. In addition, her long platinum hair, which was styled in a simple straight hairdo, cascaded down her chest. At one point, she covered her eyes with a pair of gold-framed sunglasses.
After the photos were released, Bey received criticisms from social media users. In the comments section, one in particular complained, "Yuck!!! She doesn't know didlly about country or the unspoken culture, she might as well braided her hair abd called herself native. Country she's not. She's paying her way into a culture that isn't hers."
Another wrote, "It's a good thing you put the name at the bottom otherwise we wouldn't have a clue who this is." A third penned, "I'm sick of her in a cowboy hat enough already they have enough money." Meanwhile, a fourth asked, "Soooo… white! why?!"
