The body of 'Yellowstone' actor Mo Brings Plenty's nephew is found in a wooded area in Kansas, days after he was reported missing amid domestic violence case.

AceShowbiz - Cole Brings Plenty, who starred on Paramount+'s "1923" has died at 27 years old. Cole, who is the nephew of "Yellowstone" actor Mo Brings Plenty, was found dead just days after he was reported missing.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office in Kansas announced that Cole's body was discovered in a wooded area on Friday morning, April 5 after deputies had been notified about an unoccupied vehicle. After checking the vehicle, deputies searched the area and that's when they found Cole's body away from the vehicle.

"Deputies checked the area and discovered a deceased male in a wooded area away from the vehicle," the sheriff's office wrote in the release, noting that the car was discovered at the area of 200th and Homestead Lane. "The deceased male has been identified as Cole Brings Plenty, 27."

The cause of death is not immediately known as the sheriff's office stated, "The investigation is ongoing." They added that the medical examiner and investigators were on the scene.

Meanwhile, Mo shared a statement on Instagram on behalf of Cole's father. "I am deeply saddened to confirm that my son, Cole, has been found and is no longer with us. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the prayers and positive thoughts you sent for Cole," it read.

The statement continued, "We would also like to thank everyone who came to walk beside us as we searched for my son and provided the resources we needed to expand our search areas. I learned this week how many people knew the goodness in Cole’s heart and loved him. During this incredibly difficult time, we ask for privacy as we process our grief and figure out how we move forward."

Previously on Tuesday, Mo posted on his Instagram page a missing person flyer with his nephew's face plastered all over it. Per the flyer distributed throughout Kansas and Missouri, Cole's cell phone was off and he "missed an appointment with his agent for a TV show, which is uncharacteristic for him." He was last seen driving a 2005 white Ford Explorer.

Posting another missing person poster, he captioned it, "Despite our persistent efforts, we have been unable to establish contact with Cole, and our immediate concern is his safety and well-being. Cole's sudden disappearance without telling anyone his whereabouts is anomalous, causing a wave of concern spreading rapidly across the nation and parts of Canada."

Cole's disappearance came after he was named a suspect in domestic violence case. Lawrence Kansas Police Department issued a statement on Tuesday after he was reported missing, "Lawrence Police have submitted an affidavit to the District Attorney for the arrest of Cole Brings Plenty after an incident Sunday morning at an apartment in Lawrence. We've identified him as the suspect, have probable cause for his arrest, and issued an alert to area agencies."

The police added, "Officers responded to reports of a female screaming for help, but the suspect fled before officers arrived. The investigation identified Brings Plenty and traffic cameras showed him leaving the city immediately after the incident, traveling southbound on 59 Highway. This incident involves allegations of domestic violence, which limits the amount of information we can share to protect the victim. No further details will be provided."
