AceShowbiz - Kristin Cavallari, 37, remains unfazed by the criticism surrounding her relationship with Mark Estes, 24. The "Laguna Beach" alum recently shared how she deals with the negativity, "By knowing that everyone's opinion on it actually has nothing to do with me."
Despite facing accusations such as "It's for PR!" and "He's using me!," Cavallari finds amusement in the reactions. "Seeing everyone get so worked up makes me laugh," she wrote on Instagram.
Cavallari met Estes through Instagram in September 2023. After feeling an instant connection, they made their relationship public in February 2024. Despite their 13-year age gap, Cavallari believes Estes is "not a typical 24-year-old."
While acknowledging that her decision to introduce Estes publicly was not ideal, Cavallari explained that she wanted to control the narrative. "I've been in this business for 20 years," she said. "The media has always controlled the narrative to a large degree."
Sources close to Cavallari confirm that her relationship with Estes is genuine and makes her happy. Cavallari herself has expressed openness to expanding her family with him, stating that he "wants to have a kid" and that she is "mulling it over."
