The former Nickelodeon actor has slammed the celebrities who pleaded for his abuser's leniency as they keep mum after the scandal unfolded in documentary.

AceShowbiz - Former child star Drake Bell has denounced the lack of apologies from celebrities who wrote letters of support for his abuser, Brian Peck.

During his recent appearance on "The Sarah Fraser Show" podcast, Bell revealed that he has not received an apology from any of the 41 individuals, including James Marsden, Taran Killam, and the late Alan Thicke, who penned letters pleading for leniency in Peck's 2004 child sexual abuse trial.

Bell expressed disappointment that the celebrities who supported Peck had not reached out to him to apologize. "I haven't gotten an apology, or a sorry, from anybody that had written letters, or was involved in supporting him at all," he said.

The letters, which Bell was unaware of at the time, were unsealed for the Investigation Discovery documentary "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV." Bell expressed disbelief that he had been working alongside individuals who supported his abuser for four years.

"I thought I was surrounded by friends. I thought I was safe," Bell said. "It was a situation where in the back of their mind they were thinking of me in a certain way."

However, Bell acknowledged an apology from Tom DeSanto, a producer from "X-Men," and appreciated his gesture. "This is a very, very tough thing for everyone involved," Bell added. "And so that was really cool of him to do."
