Cavallari, who shares three children with ex-husband Jay Cutler, publicly debuted her relationship with Estes, 24, on Instagram in February. She had previously kept her romantic life separate from her kids, but revealed on her podcast, "Let's Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari," that her children had met Estes.
"This is the real first guy I'd say they've met... My boys were so excited about him," Cavallari said on the podcast. "My kids really wanna see me happy."
One of Cavallari's sons was so taken with Estes that he asked for his phone number. Estes and the children have been texting "all day, every day" since then, Cavallari revealed, adding that Estes also reaches out to her youngest son, Jaxon, who is not always keen on texting.
The couple's relationship timeline began in September 2023 when Cavallari stumbled upon Estes' "Montana Boyz" TikTok account. After messaging the account, she discovered it was Estes who had been responding. They met in person in December 2023 in Nashville, and Estes asked Cavallari to be his Valentine on their first date.
Cavallari has faced criticism for her age gap with Estes, but she has defended their relationship. "I understand what it looks like to the outside world [but] he's not a typical 24-year-old," she said. "The age thing was a hang up for me at first, but I'm all in now."
