AceShowbiz - Reba McEntire denied dissing Taylor Swift following her performance at the 2024 Super Bowl. Taking to social media, the country star shut down a report about her calling the "Cardigan" songstress an "entitled little brat."
Making use of Instagram, the 68-year-old shared a screenshot of a Facebook post from America Loves Liberty. The said post read, "Reba McIntire talks about how disappointed she was to look up at the big screen while performing The National Anthem, only to see Taylor Swift laughing and drinking and making a mockery of the event.
The account also alleged that Reba insulted Taylor. "I let her have it afterward," the post claimed, as if it quoted Reba's statement. "She's an entitled little brat."
In the caption, Reba stressed, "Please don't believe everything you see on the Internet." She added, "Taylor is a wonderful artist, strong role model and has done so much good for so many people and the music industry."
Reba herself previously declared that she's a huge fan of Taylor's high-profile romance with Travis Kelce. "I'm thrilled to death with their relationship. Travis is a cutie pie," she told PEOPLE in February.
In October 2023, however, Reba jokingly blamed Taylor for losing her "crush" on Travis. Speaking to TODAY.com, she quipped, "Oh, my gosh, I am so mad at her because I had a crush on him."
"Now I can't have a crush anymore because he's dating her. I was so devastated," Reba added. "The Voice" judge further joked that Travis is her "boyfriend that cheated on" her.
Reba, who is in a romantic relationship with actor Rex Linn, revealed that Rex has no problem with her having a crush on Travis. "Isn't that sad?" she said.
Reba also admitted that she commented on the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's appearance during his previous game. "[Rex and I] were watching [Travis] play because I love the Chiefs and I love [Patrick Mahomes], and I'd say, 'Oh, he's so cute. Oh, he's so cute.' "
