AceShowbiz - Bobbi Althoff and her husband Cory Althoff are pulling the plug on their marriage, months after she denied Drake hookup rumors. The famous podcaster has confirmed her split from her husband after news broke that Cory filed for divorce.
On Wednesday, February 7, the 26-year-old social media personality took to her Instagram page to address their split news. In the post, she shared a throwback picture of her and Cory from their happier moment together.
In the caption, Bobbi admitted that she is "sad," but "thankful" for their time together. "As most of you have heard, Cory and I have filed for divorce," she wrote. "As sad as I am right now, I am so thankful for the time I got to be his wife."
"The Really Good Podcast" host had nothing but good words for her estranged husband as she added, "Our girls are so lucky to have him as a father & I am so lucky to be able to coparent with such an incredible father and person."
She went on declaring her determination to keep her relationship with Cory amicable as saying, "While our relationship did not work out as husband and wife, we will always be friends and I will always love him."
Bobbi turned off the comments on the said post. Her statement arrives after it was revealed that Cory filed for divorce from her after four years of marriage. He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and listed their date of separation as July 4, 2023.
In the filing, the businessman is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their children, daughters Isla, 1, and Luca, 3. The software company executive also asks the court to block the ability to award spousal support for both parties.
Bobbi married Cory, who is the senior vice president of the tech nonprofit CompTIA, on January 31, 2020. They welcomed their daughters in December 2019 and June 2022.
Months prior to the split news, Bobbi was forced to shut down rumors that her flirty interview caused a rift in her marriage to Cory. After she removed video of the viral interview from her YouTube page, the mother of two shut down the hookup rumors.
She shared a screenshot of her DM with Barstool Sports founder, Dave Portnoy. In the text, Dave said, "My girlfriend says you hooked up with Drake and got divorced. I am saying this is not true." In response, Bobbi replied, "I am not commenting publicly but off the record, you're right that is not true." Dave then wrote back, "I knew I was right."
On the top of the screenshot, Bobbi explained, "I did not want to do this podcast in the first place, and now so much negativity is coming from it." She then noted, "I'm going to leave it alone after this but this is the uncensored dm between Dave and I."
Recently, Bobbi addressed her relationship with Drizzy after he sparked feud rumors by unfollowing her on Instagram. "I guess we'll never know," she said in a January 31 episode of "Baby, This Is Keke Palmer", adding that she spoke to him "maybe a month ago."
