When offering his clarification, the comedian claims he does tend to help people financially if they need it, adding that he's 'just doing it because it's good to do.'

AceShowbiz - Katt Williams has shut down rumors about him giving Migos "financial assistance" amid alleged money troubles. The comedian set the record straight during an interview with Shannon Sharpe on the latter's "Club Shay Shay" podcast.
"I don't think we ever as a nation can remember a time that the Migos were financially unsuccessful," the 52-year-old first stated. "So for the record I would assume that they've never needed Katt Williams financial assistance for anything I'm sure that between QC the label and other things they were taken of."
"On the other hand, if I was given the opportunity to help them, would I? Of course I would. That's what I do. I'm a pro-Black non-racist," the actor further elaborated. "I really, really love Black people but I don't love them more than other people. I love everybody. I'm a Black guy and I try to stick with that."
Katt went on to note that he indeed tends to help people financially if they need it. "I'm not one of those pillow talkers. When I do something good, I'm really not doing it for the 'Gram. It's not for any of that. I'm just doing it because it's good to do," he explained.
Katt has been making headlines following his appearance on the "Club Shay Shay" podcast. During the sit-down, the comic dissed fellow comedians Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey as well as radio personality Ricky Smiley.
Katt first called out Ricky for being a liar. The Emmy winner was referring to when Ricky suggested that he was supposed to play Money Mike in the 2002 film "Friday After Next" while Katt was supposed to take the Santa Claus role.
Katt then came at Cedric, who allegedly stole his material. When slamming Steve, he appeared to insinuate that the "Family Feud" host plagiarized Mark Curry's role as Mark Cooper on "The Steve Harvey Show".
