The 'There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back' hitmaker, who is now 25, also includes a photo of him warming up by the fire while playing a guitar in his new thirst traps.

AceShowbiz - Shawn Mendes has given his fans a feast for their eyes by putting out new thirst traps. Over the weekend, the "Senorita" hitmaker unleashed shirtless videos of himself while dashing outside to feel the snow.

In the first clip shared on Instagram on Sunday, January 7, the 25-year-old could be seen wearing nothing shorts. The video began with the singer showing off his toned abs as he ran toward the camera.

"This is cold, bro," Shawn admitted. In the second video, he sledded down a small slope toward a wooded area, still barely clothed. The musician caption the post, which included a photo of him warming up by the fire while playing a guitar, by writing, "you can take the boy outta Canada."

Shawn's post arrived a week after he opened up about the pressure to be "perfect" when making music. Sharing a video of him playing a harmonium and singing, the "Stitches" hitmaker wrote in the caption, "Over the last year i spent a lot of time singing like this."

"I found that in moments of extreme anxiety or fear if i sat down with my harmonium and allowed myself with full trust to sing whatever came out it would often ease the pain," he added. "it felt so difficult at first to let myself sing without needing perfection."

"but after a while i actually started to fall in love with the dance between the 'right' and the 'wrong' note," the ex-boyfriend of Camila Cabello further noted. "i realized there were only moments of bliss and euphoria from the 'right' notes BECAUSE of the 'wrong' notes. The only reason i can sing in key is because i've learned to listen."

In the post, Shawn admitted that the biggest lesson he learned in 2023 was "to accept and welcome the lows of life." Ending his message, the crooner wrote, "Not to constantly need to change or fix something in order to feel high again, because i know if i really slow down and listen when i'm low there's always something to hear."
