The actress, who portrays Charlotte York Goldenblatt on 'Sex and the City', also talks about the double standards she's subjected over her look in a new interview.

AceShowbiz - Kristin Davis said she's faced criticism for using fillers. When opening up about the matter, the "Sex and the City" star revealed that it was "stressful" enough that she's "shed tears about it."

"I have done fillers and it's been good and I've done fillers and it's been bad," the 58-year-old said when speaking to The Telegraph. "I've had to get them dissolved and I've been ridiculed relentlessly."

"And I have shed tears about it," the actress, who portrays Charlotte York Goldenblatt on the HBO romantic comedy series, added. "It's very stressful."

Kristin claimed she didn't realize that something was wrong with her lips until her pals confronted her. "No one told me it didn't look good for the longest time. But luckily I do have good friends who did say eventually," she shared.

"The thing is you don't smile at yourself in the mirror. Who smiles at themselves in the mirror? Crazy people," the "And Just Like That..." actress further elaborated, before adding that she was just "trusting doctors" with these procedures, then taking the hit from the public "when it goes wrong."

During the interview, Kristin also talked about the double standards when it comes to her appearance. "It's hard to be confronted with your younger self at all times. And it's a challenge to remember that you don't have to look like that. The internet wants you to – but they also don't want you to. They're very conflicted…" she said.
