Speaking with LA Times in an interview, the 'Gone Girl' actress addresses her friends' reaction to her brief romance with the 'Saturday Night Live' alum that ended last December.

AceShowbiz - Apparently, the public wasn't the only one feeling baffled by Emily Ratajkowski and Pete Davidson's brief romance last year. The "Gone Girl" actress revealed in a new interview that even her friends were confused when finding out that she started going out with the comedian.
Speaking with LA Times in an interview which was published on Thursday, April 6, the model addressed her friends' reaction to the fling. "Even my friends were like, 'What was that like?' " the mom of one shared.
She continued, "I actually don't understand it. People are so perplexed by the idea that a man might just be respectful to women and treat them like people and thus be easy to go out on dates with."
Emily and Pete started taking their friendship to the next level a few months after the "Saturday Night Live" alum split from Kim Kardashian in August 2022. A source close to Emily claimed that while the pair had known each other for years, they reconnected after "Pete texted Emily wanting to get together to catch up."
The source went on to say that the twosome had "gone on a few dates" together in New York City and even celebrated "The King of Staten Island" actor's 29th birthday together. The "High Low with EmRata" podcast host and "The Suicide Squad" actor later went on a New York Knicks game date at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Their romance, however, fizzled out last December. A source claimed at the time, "Their fling has moved into the friends zone," adding that it's "fine with both of them."
Emrata being snapped going out with Eric Andre and DJ Orazio Rispo. Most recently, the model sparked dating rumors with Harry Styles after they were caught on camera having a steamy makeout session in Tokyo. As for Pete, he moved on with his "iodies Bodies Bodies co-star Chase Sui Wonders.
