AceShowbiz - Francia Raisa is seemingly not happy with Selena Gomez's comment in a recent interview. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the "How I Met Your Father" star has unfollowed the "Wolves" singer on Instagram after she said Taylor Swift is her "only" showbusiness friend.
As of Sunday, November 6, Francia does not follow Selena on the photo-sharing platform, but the latter is still on the 34-year-old's follower list. Francia herself has responded to an article about Selena's remark by writing, "Interesting." Though so, she allegedly has deleted the comment underneath E! News' Instagram post.
Selena got candid about her friends when speaking to Rolling Stone magazine. "I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities. My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn't belong," she first shared.
"I felt the presence of everyone around me living full lives," the 30-year-old singer/actress further elaborated. "I had this position, and I was really happy, but... was I? Do these materialistic things make me happy? [I realized] I just didn't like who I was, because I didn't know who I was."
Selena made the comments ahead of the release of a new Apple+ film on her life. Taylor showed her support for her friend's new movie "Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me" on her Instagram Stories, saying alongside a preview clip, "So proud of you @selenagomez. Love you forever."
As for Francia, she famously donated one of her kidneys to save Selena when she had kidney failure as the side effect of her lupus in the summer of 2017. The "Wizards of Waverly Place" alum made it known how much she appreciated Francia's kindness by posting a heartfelt note on Instagram, thanking her "sis" for "the ultimate gift and sacrifice."
However, a report emerged two years later that the two had stopped talking to each other since October 2018. Rumors had it, that it was Selena's unhealthy lifestyle that upset the "Grown-ish" star because the musician allegedly promised to dedicate herself to getting healthy after such serious health issues.
Neither addressed the beef speculations, but in July this year, the pair reunited in a fun TikTok video. In the said clip, the "Only Murders in the Building" actress and her BFF listed off different versions of the "He/She's a 10...but…" joke.
