AceShowbiz - Cara Delevingne's friends are giving her some support over her concerning behavior. If a new report is to be believed, the "Suicide Squad" actress was urged by her pals to "go to rehab."
Radar Online reported on Thursday, September 15 that the 30-year-old model/actress' best friends were staging a dramatic intervention to save her life. "I'm begging you, Cara. Go to rehab!" pals said during a heartfelt plea to the "Paper Towns" star.
"[Cara's friends] are desperately trying to make her understand that it is not too late for her to get well," said the source, revealing they have faced some pushback. "They're going on about how a long, intensive stint in rehab would help get her back on track, but Cara played dumb," claimed the insider, "She keeps telling them, 'I don't know what you're talking about. I'm doing great.' "
The report came after Cara missed her event with Karl Lagerfeld in New York City. The "Only Murders in the Building" actress was initially scheduled to host the launch of Cara Loves Karl fall collection party for New York Fashion Week.
Adding even more concern were the newly published photos of Margot Robbie, who appeared distressed after she left Cara's house in West Hollywood on Monday, September 12. In photos released by Daily Mail, the "Barbie" actress could be seen wiping away her tears.
Earlier that day, Cara's sister Poppy Delevingne also visited the problem-plagued beauty's property. 36-year-old Poppy reportedly left in a black SUV, looking sad and upset, at around 11 A.M.
While it's unclear whether Cara was home for either of the visits, Margot and Poppy's trips came one week after Cara's erratic behavior at Van Nuys Airport sparked concern. At the airport, the former Victoria's Secret model appeared unable to control her body movements. The shoeless model was seen on the phone, bending over, dropping her phone and walking around looking very jittery.
A few days before being spotted looking jittery at the airport, Cara was spotted taking drops of an unknown liquid and smoking while sitting in her car. A few minutes later, she stopped at a sex shop and browsed racks of dildos and vibrators for about 30 minutes on Melrose Ave.
Taking the model's disheveled public appearances seriously, Cara's family is reportedly planning to stage an emergency intervention. A close friend of the model/actress told The Sun last week, "We are all incredibly concerned. The situation has been building for a few weeks now, and Cara's family is involved."
