AceShowbiz - Noah Schnapp assures there's no bad blood between him and Doja Cat despite the DM leak drama. The 17-year-old actor has given an update on where his relationship with the singer is at now after she called him out for publicly sharing her DMs about Joseph Quinn.
Noah, who is best known for playing Will Byers on Netflix's series "Stranger Things", took to TikTok on Wednesday, July 13 to tell his followers that it's "all good" now with Doja. He posted a video of him lip-syncing to Doja's song "Kiss Me More", which played in the background.
In the comment, Noah told his fans that he had apologized to Doja. "Guys, everything is all good," he wrote underneath the 15-second clip. "I apologized and I still follow her and love her music. No hard feelings."
Noah and Doja had a social media fallout last week after Noah exposed the Grammy Award-winning artist for asking him about his "Stranger Things" co-star Joseph, seemingly wanting to date him or wanting Noah to set her up with the Eddie Munson depicter. "Noah can you tell Joseph to hmu?" Doja wrote to Noah, which screenshot he shared in a TikTok video. She quickly followed up with an important question, "Wait no. Does he have a girlfriend?"
Noah then responded, "LMAOO slide into his DMs," to which Doja replied, "I don't know his Instagram or his Twitter. He doesn't have a DM to slide in." Noah then sent over Joseph's Instagram profile to Doja. "Right here ma'am," he added.
After the clip went viral, Doja responded in an Instagram video and told her fans not to go after Noah, since he's young and might not have understood what he was doing when he posted their DMs. "I think that, to be fair, let's try to be chill about it," she began. "Like Noah is a kid, but, I don't even know how old he is, but he can't be over -- like there's no way he's over 21."
"But when you're that young, you make mistakes. You do dumb s**t. I'm like trying to be super fair," Doja continued. "You do dumb s**t, you say dumb s**t, you f**king, f**k up relationships with people. You make mistakes. Like you're supposed to do that so that you know you're not supposed to do that in the future. I did my share of f**k ups so that I don't f**k up again."
The "Mooo!" singer, however, later got a little shady as adding, "The fact that Noah did that, like went and posted a private conversation between me and him is so unbelievably socially unaware and wack." She fumed, "That's like borderline snake s**t, that's like weasel s**t."
"And I'm not saying that that encapsulates his entire personality -- like I don't imagine Noah that way. Maybe he is, like a whole snake. But I didn't see him that way," the singer/rapper stressed. "I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it and he went and shared information that I didn't feel comfortable with him sharing."
The drama has cost Doja around 200,000 of her followers on Instagram.
