The sizzling image of the 'Blade Runner 2049' star shows him flashing his washboard abs in an unbuttoned denim vest, leaving the actor's partner Eva Mendes gushing over it.

AceShowbiz - Here's the first look at Ryan Gosling as Ken in "Barbie". On Wednesday, June 15, Warner Bros. Pictures released the first official image of the Canadian actor as the male lead in the live-action adaptation of Mattel's famous toy characters.

The 41-year-old hunk looks dreamy as he flashes his washboard abs under a denim vest which is left unbuttoned with the band of his underwear, which also reads "Ken," showing from his jeans. He sports a bleach blonde hairstyle and has a prominent spray tan to emulate the character, while leaning on a pink pillar and putting his hands in his jeans pockets.

Also helping promote the movie was Gosling's longtime girlfriend Eva Mendes. Sharing the image on her Instagram page, she gushed over her partner's portrayal of Ken, "So. F. Funny. So. F. Good. So F excited for you to see this…#Thatsmyken."

Previously, WB unleashed the first look at Margot Robbie as the titular character, Barbie. The Australian actress looks cheerful as she flashes a big smile while sitting behind the wheel of a pink convertible.

Rocking blonde locks, she completely channels a Barbie in a blue-and-white outfit that features an open back. The actress completes her style with a polka dot bandana and a bracelet in matching color with her dress.

Directed by Greta Gerwig from a screenplay written by herself and Noah Baumbach, "Barbie" initially had Amy Schumer attached to star in the lead role, before she left the project in March 2017. Robbie's casting was confirmed in 2019 and she has said the film's goal was to subvert expectations.

"... we like the things that feel a little left of center. Something like Barbie where the IP, the name itself, people immediately have an idea of, 'Oh, Margot is playing Barbie, I know what that is,' but our goal is to be like, 'Whatever you're thinking, we're going to give you something totally different - the thing you didn't know you wanted,' " she told The Hollywood Reporter in April. "Now, can we truly honor the IP and the fan base and also surprise people? Because if we can do all that and provoke a thoughtful conversation, then we're really firing on all cylinders."

Also starring Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Will Ferrell and "And Just Like That..." actor Hari Nef, the movie is set to hit U.S. theaters on July 21, 2023.
