'Encanto' Soundtrack Blocks NBA YoungBoy's 'Colors' From Taking No. 1 Spot on Billboard 200 Chart

NBA YoungBoy's new set fails to debut atop the chart as it lands at No. 2 with 79,000 equivalent album units earned, while Walker Hayes scores his first Top 10 album on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

AceShowbiz - "Encanto" soundtrack continues to take the throne at the Billboard 200 albums chart. The soundtrack album for Disney+'s animated movie spends a third non-consecutive week at No. 1 on the tally after earning a new weekly-best 115,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending January 27.

"Encanto" joins Lady GaGa and Bradley Cooper's "A Star Is Born", "Black Panther: The Album" and "Frozen (2013)" as the only soundtracks which have spent at least three weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart. Of "Encanto" soundtrack's number, SEA units comprise 93,000 which equals to 138.51 million on-demand official streams of the set's songs. Album sales comprise 19,000, while 3,000 are in the form of TEA units.

NBA YoungBoy's (YoungBoy Never Broke Again) new set "Colors", meanwhile, fails to debut atop the chart as it lands at No. 2 with 79,000 equivalent album units earned. It marks the rapper's eighth Top 10 album and all the milestones were all earned in less than four years. Of that sum, SEA units comprise 77,000, album sales comprise a little under 2,000 and TEA units are made of by a negligible sum.

Gunna's former No. 1 "DS4Ever" dips from No. 2 to No. 3 in its third week with 69,000 equivalent album units earned. Also falling down in the new chart is The Weeknd's "Dawn FM" as it earns 43,000 units. Meanwhile, Morgan Wallen's former leader "Dangerous: The Double Album" stays steady at No. 5 with 41,000 equivalent album units.

Occupying No. 6 is Adele's "30" which dips from No. 4 to No. 6 on the new Billboard 200 after earning 39,000 equivalent album units. As for Drake's "Certified Lover Boy", the former leader album ascends from No. 8 to No. 7 with 35,000 equivalent album units earned.

Slipping down one rang is The Weeknd's compilation album "The Highlights". It falls from No. 7 to No. 8 with 34,000 units. The new chart also sees Walker Hayes collecting his first Top 10 album on the Billboard 200 albums chart as "Country Stuff: The Album" debuts at No. 9 with 33,000 units. Concluding the Top 10 is Doja Cat's "Planet Her" which is a non-mover at No. 10 with 32,000 units.
