AceShowbiz - Here's a new look at Tom Holland's upcoming movie "Uncharted". Hot on heels of the success of "Spider-Man: No Way Home" starring the British actor, Sony Pictures Entertainment has released a new trailer of the big-screen adaptation of the video games of the same name.

The new trailer incorporates scenes which have been seen in the first trailer as well as some never-before-seen action sequences, including one that is set mid-air. In the said scene, Holland's Nathan Drake hangs on a sail and fights some baddies atop flying ships that are hooked up to helicopters.

The video also previews some humor in the movie. At the end of it, Mark Wahlberg's Sully shows up with the character's iconic mustache to ambush some bad guys. Nathan, not used to his mentor's new style, mocks his facial hair.

In "Uncharted", street-smart thief Nathan "Nate" Drake is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor "Sully" Sullivan to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world's oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate's long-lost brother...but only if they can learn to work together.

The film was in development hell for years before Ruben Fleischer was confirmed as director in February 2020 with Holland attached in the lead role. Rafe Judkins, Art Marcum and Matt Holloway penned the script based on a story by Judkins. It also stars Tati Gabrielle as Braddock and Sophia Ali's Chloe Frazer, a fellow fortune hunter who is also described as Nathan's love interest.

The movie is slated for theatrical release on February 18, 2022 in the United States.
