AceShowbiz - Candace Owens has become the butt of the joke on the Internet. Many online users mocked the political commentator after Donald Trump, whom she has been supporting for years, countered her anti-vax stance during a recent interview.

When sitting down with Owens for the Tuesday, December 21 episode of her show "Candace", Trump pushed back on her skepticism about the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccine. "Forget about the mandates, people have to have their freedom, but at the same time, the vaccine is one of the greatest achievements of mankind," he said.

"I came up with a vaccine, with three vaccines," the former president further stressed. "All are very, very good. Came up with three of them in less than nine months. It was supposed to take five to 12 years."

Owens later tried to take aim at President Joe Biden. She told Trump, "Yet more people have died under COVID this year. By the way, under Joe Biden, than under you and more people took the vaccine this year. So people are questioning how..."

Before the conservative author could finish her sentence, Trump interjected, "Oh no, the vaccines work, but some people aren't the ones." He then explained, "The ones who get very sick and go to the hospital are the ones that don't take the vaccine. But it's still their choice. And if you take the vaccine, you're protected."

"Look, the results of the vaccine are very good, and if you do get it, it's a very minor form," the father of Ivanka Trump, who recently admitted that he got COVID-19 vaccine booster, continued. "People aren't dying when they take the vaccine."

Many have since made fun of Owens after the interview went viral. "Candace, I don't think you get to get mad here. Trump made you look stupid.
