AceShowbiz - Keyshia Cole will give up sex in 2022. When opening up about her goal for next year, the "I Should Have Cheated" songstress informed her online devotees that she will practice celibacy.
The 40-year-old musician made the revelation on her Twitter account on Monday, December 20. "I'm tackling celibacy this entire next year," she simply declared, adding a purple heart emoji.
Keyshia's post was met with supportive comments from her followers. One in particular wrote, "Great thing to do to re-align yourself mentally, physically, and spiritually. I remember when you first came into the industry, you were focused, men were not in your view like that at all."
The comment did not go unnoticed by the ex-wife of former NBA Star Daniel Gibson, who penned, "How u think I wrote all them songs boo? Them ninja's were there." She then added, "Just a** holes and full of s**t, like they are now."
Keyshia was not the only celebrity to plan to live as a celibate. In October, Nick Cannon announced his plan to abstain from sex until at least next year. "I told you, man, I'm celibate right now," the comedian/rapper said on "Drink Champs", before adding, "I'm going to see if I could make it to 2022."
"I'm trying to chill out though. I'm chillin', I'm kind of stepping away, getting focused, going within, getting my celibacy on," the ex-husband of Mariah Carey went on sharing. "I have enough children, enough frolicking, I'm good right now."
Nick himself is a father of six. He shares 10-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with Mariah, 4-year-old son Golden and 1-year-old daughter Powerful Queen with model Brittany Bell, and twins Zion and Zillion with DJ Abby De La Rosa. His youngest child Zen, whom he shared with Alyssa Scott, unfortunately passed away a few weeks ago after suffering Hydrocephalus.
