The 'On the Floor' hitmaker deflects a question about her rumored relationship with former actor fiance during an interview on NBC breakfast TV show 'Today'.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez is remaining coy about her rekindled romance with Ben Affleck after dodging a question about her happiness during a U.S. TV interview.

The "Jenny From the Block" hitmaker reconnected with the actor shortly after ending her engagement to retired baseball star Alex Rodriguez in April (21), but she has yet to comment on the latest development in her love life - and it appears she isn't quite ready to share all on air.

J.Lo was put on the spot during a remote appearance on America's "Today" show on Tuesday (20Jul21), as presenter Hoda Kotb commented on how the singer/actress looked "happier."

"I'm always happy when you see me, Hoda," the superstar laughed.

"Every time I see a picture of you and Ben, (I think), 'She looks happier,' " Kotb continued. "Are we happier?"

After a brief pause, Lopez decided to turn the attention back to her new project, the re-release of her Lin-Manuel Miranda charity song collaboration "Love Make the World Go Round", to mark the fifth anniversary of Florida's Pulse nightclub tragedy and raise additional funds for the onePULSE Foundation.

"The song is out, five years since we've done it," she said. "And I believe that that message of loving one another and coming together and love, is never more relevant than it is right now."

Refusing to let J.Lo off the hook completely, her pal Kotb teased, "Wait, it's me you're talking to, you know that," prompting Lopez to suggest they speak privately for a personal update.

"I know," Lopez replied. "You can call me. You have my number!"

The interview took place days after Lopez claimed she has "never been better" after realising she could be perfectly content on her own.

"I want my people who care about me, because I care about them so much, to know that I've really gotten to a place in my life where I'm great on my own," she shared with Apple Music's Zane Lowe.

"And I think once you get to that place, then amazing things happen to you that you never imagine in your life happening again. And so that is where I'm at."

J.Lo and Affleck previously dated and became engaged in 2002, but split months later after calling off their wedding plans.

Lopez and Miranda originally released their single in July 2015, weeks after 49 people were killed and 53 others injured in a mass shooting at Pulse, a popular gay nightclub in Orlando.
