Zara Larsson also claps back at the 'Blue Jeans' singer after she defended her 'self advocacy for the more delicate and often dismissed, softer female personality.'

AceShowbiz - Azealia Banks appears to have had the last laugh as Lana Del Rey continues to receive criticism over her controversial statements. Throwing another subtle shade at the "Video Games" hitmaker, the raptress shared a cryptic post on Instagram on Saturday, May 23.

The "212" spitter posted a photo of her lying down on a couch while looking at her phone. "Watching it all unfold," she wrote in the caption, which could translate into something like "See? I told you so!"

Azealia has previously reacted to Lana's controversial remarks as tweeting on Thursday, "That girl really said she invented women speaking their minds huh. Like I'm not dreaming ? That actually happened ?" She added, "Like how many times are white women gonna randomly claim to have opened the pages the way for certain things to happen THAT WERE ALREADY HAPPENING!? This is Christopher Columbus discovering America all over again. We're tired." The outspoken rapper continued, "The White girls get a little critical acclaim for whispering on beats and forget how to act."

"For what it's worth I can empathize that she felt targeted for years and felt she needed to speak out but she could have gone about it a lot better because that wasn't it at all," she noted. "Women have been speaking on being in imperfect relationships/ situations. Beyonce's lemonade album exists, Nicki's Pink print album exists. You didn't open any doors. You simply joined the choir and then convinced yourself you were the choir master @LanaDelRey. Typical."

In her original post, Lana slammed critics who called out her provocative lyrics and deemed her musical explorations of domestic violence as "anti-feminist," writing, "Now that Doja Cat, Ariana, Camila, Cardi B, Kehlani, Nicki Minaj, and Beyonce have all had number ones about being sexy, wearing no clothes, f**king, cheating etc - can I please go back to singing about being embodied, feeling beautiful by being in love even if the relationship is not perfect, or dancing for money - or whatever I want - without being crucified or saying that I'm glamorizing abuse?"

Following the backlash, she defended her remarks and explained that this wasn't an issue in regards to women of color. "Bro. This is sad to make it about a WOC issue when I'm talking about my favorite singers. I could've literally said anyone but I picked my favorite f***ing people. And this is the problem with society today, not everything is about whatever you want it to be," she wrote.

Azealia wasn't the only celebrity who has reacted to Lana's posts. Fellow singer Zara Larsson also took issue with the 34-year-old songstress' claim that her statements were "self advocacy for the more delicate and often dismissed, softer female personality."

Disagreeing with Lana, the Swedish singer mocked her, "Serious question for the culture (lol): haven't 'delicate' and 'soft' women always been celebrated? It's literally the 'ideal' woman. For decades women have been seen as delicate and soft as well as passive and submissive. And if A woman didn't fit into that standard she was frowned upon."

"I do agree that sometimes women today, because we had to fight for the right to change the narrative and to authoritarian, lead, and to own our sexuality, have to put on a 'strong girl' facade to be seen as a ~true~ Feminist, when the truth is, women (and every other gender) is sometimes strong and sometimes soft, she continued. But...fight for the right to be soft? Is it necessary?"

Zara recalled her own fear when releasing her third studio album "Ruin My Life" in which she addressed her past toxic relationship, adding, "Feeling like you want to ruin your life is f**ked up, but at one point I wanted that more than being without him. BUT my artistic freedom shouldn't be the center of a feministic debate, because I think they're way more important topics, like actual domestic abuse. Ya feel?"
