The 'I Believe I Can Fly' singer has filed his third plea in a bid to get released from prison early over coronavirus concerns amid the ongoing health crisis.

AceShowbiz - R. Kelly has made a third plea to get out of jail, claiming he has proof he's vulnerable to Covid-19.

The singer's lawyer has filed new documents, obtained by TMZ, asking the judge overseeing his case to release his client pending his many trials.

After failing to secure a release twice before, Kelly's legal team now claims the "I Believe I Can Fly" singer is "likely diabetic" with high cholesterol and high blood pressure - making him a high-risk inmate at Metropolitan Correctional Center Chicago in Illinois.

The same judge recently ruled she's confident the singer is not at risk and she was not convinced he wasn't a flight risk.

R. Kelly's latest bid for house arrest comes a day after he pleaded not guilty to a string of new sex trafficking charges in New York.

The singer entered his plea on Thursday, April 30, 2020 via online communication from a federal jail.

The new indictment adds several allegations of abuse from a victim referred to only as Jane Doe 5.

Kelly, who has been held in Chicago on federal charges since last year 2019, has also been charged with a racketeering conspiracy in the U.S. District Court in New York. He is accused of grooming underage girls attending his concerts for sexual abuse.

Meanwhile, in Chicago, the "Ignition" star has been charged with conspiring with his longtime manager Derrell McDavid and a former employee to rig his 2008 child pornography trial. McDavid has denied the charge.

Kelly also faces additional charges in Minnesota, as well as allegations he bribed an Illinois official to obtain a fake identification for the singer Aaliyah so they could get married when she was 15.

He has denied all allegations.
