The shutterbugs camping outside the house where the 'All of Me' singer and his wife live with their children ignore the couple when they offer sweet treats.

AceShowbiz - John Legend and Chrissy Teigen's attempts to win over the paparazzi with doughnuts backfired, after the snappers snubbed the offering.

The couple stepped out from isolation in Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 and "All of Me" crooner John, who was carrying a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, decided to offer some up to the photographers.

However, while the gesture made perfect sense to the famous pair, the snappers had no idea what was going on and didn't take them up on the offer.

"u know who is suffering right now. the paparazzi. ain't got no one to shoot. some outside my house right now. waiting waiting for a walk that will never happen. a nipple that will never fall out. I think...I think I will give them a nipple," Chrissy tweeted.

Returning to social media, she later added, "give me something to do to help the economy. a fake john fight? should I sob? drag my mom to the car like an animal?"

As fans offered various tongue-in-cheek suggestions, including "Bring out the garbage in a red carpet outfit" and "Dress John up in drag," she settled on gifting some sweet treats to the snappers.

But when the pair went out with a box of goodies, their offering wasn't well received, with Chrissy finally adding, "Update: I did nothing except give them donuts they didn't take."

While the kind gesture didn't go entirely to plan, John will help keep fans in lockdown entertained this weekend, as he performs as part of Lady GaGa's star-studded "One World: Together at Home" concert, which will air simultaneously across the main U.S. TV networks from 8 P.M. EST.
