The 'Traffic' rapper neither apologizes nor removes the controversial comment from his Twitter account after sparking rage for calling Chinese people 'nasty' and blaming them for the pandemic.

AceShowbiz - Lil Reese is seemingly not sorry after calling Chinese people out and blaming them for the spread of coronavirus. The 27-year-old rapper has neither apologized nor backtracked his earlier statement that drew backlash online.
On Thursday, March 12, the Chicago-born star, who was featured on Chief Keef's single "I Don't Like", tweeted, "Chinese people nasty asl man got the whole [world] f**k up." Many people quickly reacted to his remark, with some calling him "racist."
"the username @LilRacist300 is available of you wanna take it...," someone slammed Reese. Another called him a "weirdo," while some others suggested that he should delete the tweet while he's still got time. "d**n bro, you might want to delete this because it might be rough for you when this clears up," one warned him.
Another shared a meme with a similar advice, "the best time to delete this tweet was immediately after sending it, the second best time is now." Someone else told him, "Bro please delete this u still got time."
Another mocked Reese while saying that he needs to be educated about the spread of COVID-19. "God I was gonna say read a damn book but I doubt you'd even know where to find one, much less educate yourself on viruses," the said person wrote. Another added, "Chinese people didnt start the Virus you cant blame them...."
But Reese remains unfazed by the backlash and appears to ignore their advice, as the controversial tweet remains on his page after more than 24 hours.
Previously, Summer Walker abandoned one of her Instagram accounts after making a racist comment about Chinese people. Earlier this month, she posted a video which falsely linked Chinese people's hygiene issue with the spread of the lethal virus. She wrote in the caption of her post, "That's some trifling nasty a** s**t."
Although she wiped her Instagram clean, she stood by her criticisms of Chinese people following the coronavirus outbreak. She refused to apologize and called her critics stupid instead. "Lol people are so dumb, talking about im racist and that video was from a long time ago," she wrote. "It don't matter if it was from 20 years ago, bottom line that s**t was nasty."
