AceShowbiz - Julia Butters has made sure that she will be eating what she likes at the 2020 Oscars. The 10-year-old breakout actress, who starred in award-winning movie "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", admitted during an interview on the red carpet that she wasn't a fan of the foods offered at the event, and brought her own favorite inside her purse.
"It is crazy! It is very heavy! Give it a feel," Butters said while showing off her Marzook bedazzled purse to Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier and guest co-host Sharon Osbourne. "There is a sandwich in my purse because I was smart this time. The other awards I was hungry, I was starving, and sometimes, either, they don't have food or I don't care for the food."
This is not the first time for stars sneaking in foods at the award shows. Melissa McCarthy previously made headlines after revealed that she snuck in 40 ham and cheese sandwiches to the 2019 Golden Globes. Of the action, actress Jessica Chastain said, "How did she get them in here? But it's a good idea because by the time you get into the ballroom dinner has already been served, and you're always so hungry."
Back to Buttes, the starlet, who portrayed Trudi Fraser in Quentin Tarantino's flick, looked bright while making her debut appearance at the Academy Awards. She was adorable in a pink Christian Siriano creation with a Lark & Berry London necklace. She paired the look with matching bubble gum pink shoes while styling her hair in an up 'do.
Buttlers wasn't nominated for her performance in the movie, though the movie was up for 10 categories including Best Picture at the 92nd annual Academy Awards. Meanwhile, co-star Brad Pitt was among the early winners after snagging the trophy for Best Supporting Actor.
