AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for "Love & Hip Hop: New York" stars Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels. The couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, on Sunday, February 2. The new dad excitedly broke the news on his Instagram account on Monday alongside the first photo of his baby.
"The past 24 hrs have been an adventure to say the least!! I’m a part of the #girldad club now," so the 38-year-old TV star wrote as he shared a sweet photo of his newborn's hand wrapped around his finger. "Perfection is here."
The post also saw Safaree paying tribute to the late Kobe Bryant in a subtle way. The hashtag he used was apparently inspired by the late NBA legend's approach to fatherhood.

"Sorry to everyone who came out to see me in Rhode Island last night, as I was getting ready to leave my wife's water broke," he explained in a post on Instagram Stories.
He also shared a picture of his baby girl's footprint. "She inspired this," he captioned the pic as linked to his new "Purpose of Love" music video with Loomis.
Erica also took to her own account to share a picture of Safaree holding their newborn baby. "Just here staring at my husband as he obsesses over our daughter. I thank God. I prayed for this life," Erica said in the caption.
Safaree and Erica, who tied the knot on October 7, 2019, announced that they were expecting a child in a video announcement they shared on October 1. "Wow, wow, it's a big deal! Very big deal. I didn't know I was capable of doing this. I'm excited!" Safaree said in the video, while rubbing his wife's baby belly.
"I'm nervous. I'm in shock. I'm in disbelief. It's very surreal to me. I don't know what to do but I know I'm going to be great at what I do, because I'm great at everything," he continued saying.
