AceShowbiz - Safaree Samuels is out and proud. The rapper, who recently made headlines after being spotted at Gag City, didn't try to hide the fact that he attended Nicki Minaj's "Pink Friday 2 Tour" in Miami as he documented the whole thing in a vlog.
The vlog saw Safaree preparing the jean vest he was going to wear for the show. He poked fun at the viral video of her ex, saying, "The jacket looks great. I don't know what you're talking about, but every woman in here is gonna like that. Please. You wore a Jean vest."
The "Love & Hip Hop: Miami" star was also seen excitedly dancing and rapping along to his former girlfriend's songs during the concert. "Gag City, it was real," he said at one point.
Reflecting on his experience at the show, Safaree shared, "I just wanna say, wow - what a night. I'm not gonna lie, it was like one of those full circle moments. It was just like a proud feeling." He added, "I'm happy for Nicki. I'm proud. We don't have to be friends - we don't have to be cool. I just have to know how I feel about everything that's going on with her, her life, where she's at."
Upon watching Safaree's video, some fans praised him for his genuine feelings toward Nicki. "I love his energy!! Showing love," a fan wrote in an Instagram comment. "Idc I love him. Enjoy ya self bro. Life too short to not have fun," someone added.
"I thought it was wholesome and funny. It's been ten years…I think he's ok to attend a concert lol." another opined. Someone else wrote, "They were together for 10 plus years. He helped her cultivate and create her original sound, look, raps and everything! I think it's ok for him to to go to the concert. Like it or not, he was literally a big part of her success."
Meanwhile, fans speculated that Nicki was aware that Safaree, whom she dated from 2003 to 2014, attended her show that night and seemingly shaded him during her speech. "You ever had your heart broken," she told the crowd.
The mom of one continued, "And did you cry all day and you didn't wanna get out of bed and you couldn't eat and you thought that life was over? And then one day you woke up and you realized you're way better off without that moron?"
