This is not the first time Kobe's death is linked to conspiracy theory as one episode of ComedyCentral's animated sitcom 'Legends of Chamberlain Heights' went viral as it predicted Kobe's death in a helicopter crash.

AceShowbiz - Kobe Bryant's death is too shocking that some people thought that it was some kind of conspiracy theory. Among those who believed such thing was psychologist Dr. Umar Johnson, who went on Instagram Live to spout his outrageous conspiracy theory about the NBA star's death in a helicopter crash.

"They did not crash because of the fog--that was an expert pilot. Kobe was sabotaged," he explained during the live broadcast. "Not to mention, Kobe Bryant was engaged in a legal battle with a big pharmaceutical company over the use of the name, 'Black Mamba.' "

He then emphasized that the helicopter was crashed on purpose due to this conflict. "You understand me? Radar can see through the fog, thank you system. Radar can see through the fog. They didn't crash because of no damn fog and it wasn't no wind. The propeller was sabotaged," he went on saying.

Additionally, Dr. Johnson mentioned that the unnamed pharmaceutical company is "very powerful." Bossip, meanwhile, stated that the said company was actually just a gas station brand of pills which made his theory sound absurd to many people.

"Umar Johnson is saying that Kobe Bryant was murdered by 'them'. Probably the same 'them' that got Bill Cosby out of here because he was about to buy NBC. This s**t is goofy and I'm annoyed," one fumed fan wrote on Twitter. "It's 2020. Keep Dr Umar Johnson off my TL. I don't want to hear conspiracy theory about the death of Kobe. I dont want to hear anything that comes out of his mouth," one other said.

Meanwhile, another user called Dr. Johnson "a fraud," adding, "he is only using kobe's name for donating to his school #f**kumar." Another comment read, "Umar Johnson said Kobe Bryant’s death was no accident and he was killed because he was in a battle with a pharmaceutical company over the name 'Black Mamba.' I hate it here and everyone who gave him a voice."

This is not the first time Kobe's death is linked to conspiracy theory. Prior to this, Twitterverse was sent into frenzy after a video of one episode of ComedyCentral's animated sitcom "Legends of Chamberlain Heights" went viral as it predicted Kobe's death in a helicopter crash.

In the 2016 episode, it was depicted that the late NBA legend went down in a helicopter crash. Looking distressed, Kobe was seen crawling out of the helicopter but was struggling to do so because he was holding his trophies. He refused the help which was offered by one character, and then the helicopter exploded.

Additionally, someone also foresaw the death back in 2014. A tweet, which was posted on November 14, 2012, read, "Kobe is going to end up dying in a helicopter crash."

Kobe and his daughter Gianna were on their way to Bryant's Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, California when the helicopter they boarded on crashed on Sunday, January 26 in Calabasas, California due to heavy fog. The duo and seven others on board were killed.
