This arrives after the 'Baywatch' alum wrote an open letter to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in order to request him to serve inmates vegan meals.

AceShowbiz - While some celebrities were praised for their Halloween outfits, some others landed in hot water for looks that many deemed offensive or insensitive. Pamela Anderson was among those unfortunate artists who failed to impress people with her Halloween look.

The "Baywatch" alum was under fire after sharing some racy photos on her Twitter account of herself wearing a Native American headdress. In one of the photos, the 51-year-old Canadian actress was seen sporting a pair of high-waisted underwear. She covered her chest with paint while holding up a Native American headdress in her lefthand.

In the other photo, Pamela offered a look at her derriere while being topless. The actress was featured seductively looking over her shoulder at the camera. She had the oversized headdress on her head. "Happy Halloween," so she wrote in the caption alongside a ghost emoji.

Her costume didn't sit well with some people. Calling out the star, one user wrote, "If only you were as considerate of indigenous culture as you are about animals." Another fan added, "Pamela Anderson, the white woman who doesn't eat animals because it's cruel but who willingly promotes the mocking of native cultures and the murdering of indigenous women (aka human beings, I know sometimes it's hard to figure that one out) because it’s...'fashionable'?...."

Someone else, meanwhile, revealed that s/he was blocked by Pamela after tweeting a meme that read, "how many times do we have to have this conversation." The person wasn't the only one geting blocked as one other fan tweeted, "#pamelaanderson blocked me on twitter because she got called out for being a hypocrite and posting her Halloween costume head dress. So celebs can get away with what ever they want?"

Another comment read, "I'm blocked from Pamela Anderson's account because I, like many others, told her what I thought about her ugly Native-insulting Halloween photos jail her."

Pamela apparently responded to the criticism by simply tweeting a link to an article from Law Library titled "The Illogic of Cultural Appropriation".

This arrives after Pamela wrote an open letter to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau requesting that he serves inmates vegan meals. "Since my days on Baywatch, I have focused much of my international advocacy work on animal protection and the environment," she wrote. "I recently moved back to Canada, and I have a suggestion that would save Canadian taxpayers money and improve the health of tens of thousands of people: Please switch to serving nutritious vegan meals in correctional facilities."
