AceShowbiz - Lori Loughlin's daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose Giannulli's days as students at the University of Southern California are apparently over. The university has confirmed that the two girls are no longer enrolled at the USC, seven months after their parents' alleged involvement in the nationwide college entrance exam cheating scandal was exposed.
The university registrar said in a statement on Monday evening, October 21, "Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli are not currently enrolled." It added, "We are unable to provide additional information because of student privacy laws."
It's not clear if Olivia and Bella voluntarily withdrew themselves from the university or they were kicked out by the USC due to their parents' involvement in the case. Earlier this year, the university put the statuses of students involved in the alleged cheating and bribery scams on hold, making them not able to withdraw from the school while their situations would be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
"USC has placed holds on the accounts of students who may be associated with the alleged admissions scheme," the college announced on its website back in August. "This prevents the students from registering for classes (until they have agreed to participate in the review of their case), withdrawing from the university, or acquiring transcripts while their cases are under review."
Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli are accused of paying $500,000 to a fake charity to get their two daughters into the University of Southern California as part of the school's crew team, even though neither of them participated in the sport. They rejected a plea deal and were hit with additional charges of money laundering and conspiracy. They face up to 40 years behind bars if convicted on all charges.
While her parents are awaiting their fate, Olivia continues to live like a normal teenager. The beauty blogger was recently pictured attending musician Andrew Watt's birthday party with her boyfriend Jackson Guthy. The Saturday night, October 19 bash was also attended by other celebrities like Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Baldwin, Camila Cabello, Adam Levine, Jared Leto, Diplo, Brooklyn Beckham, Josie Canseco and Kelly Osbourne.
