In a new joint interview with The Washington Post, the 'Zombieland: Double Tap' actress raves over her presidential candidate boyfriend, gushing that she is 'absolutely in love.'

AceShowbiz - Rosario Dawson's love for her U.S. presidential candidate boyfriend Cory Booker is like nothing she has ever experienced.

In a new joint interview with The Washington Post the power couple, which marked its first anniversary on Monday, October 14, discussed its high profile relationship - and how it feels different to past romances.

"I'm in love! I am absolutely in love, and it is so exciting," Dawson, 40, declared.

Explaining how she feels different about Booker, who is currently trailing in the race to become the Democratic Party's 2020 presidential nominee, the "Trance" actress added, "For my whole life, I've always felt like, even when I got into a relationship, I was trying to be the center of the storm and everything was just this maelstrom out there. But for the first time, I feel like I have someone in the centre of the storm with me."

The 50-year-old politician told the newspaper that he feels exactly the same way.

"Look, both of us, you know, we've had relationships," he explained. "But I'm not sure if I've ever fully given myself over to a relationship as much as I have with her and allowed myself to be as vulnerable."

However, in an appearance on NPR's "Off Script" online web series, Booker said wedding bells are not on the horizon just yet.

"I can't announce something like that (planning to propose)," he explained. "She would be mad at me. That would be her saying no. Should I ever get to that point, I will try to embarrass her and put her on the spot. But I'm not making any... I'm very happily happy where I am right now."
