AceShowbiz - Singer CeCe Peniston has accused Lizzo of stealing her music.
Just a day after producers Justin Raisen and Jeremiah Raisen claimed the hip-hop and R&B sensation had nabbed a lyric for her chart-topping hit "Truth Hurts" from them, "Finally" star Peniston has offered up another plagiarism allegation.
She has re-shared claims she previously made about Lizzo's hit "Juice", stating: "This is a clear example of #copyrightinfringement. Cece Peniston versus @lizzobeeating y'all check this out."
She alleges the repeated "Ya Ya EE" line in Lizzo's "Juice" is a copy of her phrasing in "Finally", her 1991 hit.
But she made it clear she's still a big fan of Lizzo's.
Ironically, Lizzo has filed to trademark the phrase "100 per cent that b***h" from "Truth Hurts", which the Raisens have claimed legally belongs to them.
