While assuring that she will marry the 'Hurts So Good' rocker at some point, the 'When Harry Met Sally' actress stresses that her main focus right now is on her career and children.

AceShowbiz - Meg Ryan isn't interested in rushing down the aisle to marry John Mellencamp.

The "When Harry Met Sally" actress became engaged to the rocker last year (2018), after dating him on and off since 2010, but planning the wedding hasn't been a top priority.

"Yes, I'm going to get married at some point," she tells InStyle magazine, "but for now this engagement thing is a state of grace."

Meg is mother to son Jack, 26, who she shares with her ex-husband Dennis Quaid, and her adopted daughter Daisy True, 14, and the star has shifted her focus to career and her kids ahead of her marriage to Mellencamp.

"I'm focused on producing. I'm also teeing myself up to direct, and I'm working on a fun e-commerce project with some of my friends. But most of all, what I'm ambitious for in the 12 hours a day that I'm awake is my kids' happiness. I just am," she says. "I'm either figuring out how to provide for them, figuring out how to say it right, figuring out all those mom things. I want them to be happy."
