AceShowbiz - Javi Marroquin is ready to walk down the aisle for the second time. The "Teen Mom 2" star has proposed to his girlfriend and baby mama Lauren Comeau, and she said "yes." He took to Instagram on Tuesday, June 18, a day after the proposal took place, to announce the exciting news.
Javi shared a picture of him and his future wife, and another snap which features Lauren showing off her engagement ring. He wrote a sweet caption along with it, "June 17th I asked my best friend to marry me. Our sleepless (mainly yours) nights... our endless laughs... and our countless jokes to each other now can be forever."
"Without you, our gym wouldn't be possible. Without you we wouldn't have a place to call home. Most importantly, without you, we wouldn't be complete," he continued. "Thank you for being the greatest mom to Eli and now (soon to be) stepmom to Lincoln. I feared not finding someone that would love me and linc the way you do. Never have I questioned that with you. Thank you for everything you do for this family. I can't believe I'm this lucky."
Lauren cheekily responded to Javi's romantic message, "Also! I can't believe I'm lucky enough to annoy you for the rest of our lives!!! #prankwars forever ! Ima have to find me a new movie partner though."
Sharing a similar picture on her own Instagram account, the mother of one proudly declared Javi as "my hunk of a FIANCE." She added, "06/17/19 the perfect day, with the perfect proposal. I couldn't have asked for anything more than walking the waterfront of my hometown with just my boys and my cousin stalking us in the trees. I blow almost every surprise and this one got me, I didn't see it coming..even when Linc spotted my cousin hiding Thank you my love for this day, for our life, Im ready for whatever this crazy life throws at us as long as I got you Heres to forever."
Javi and Lauren started dating in 2017 after meeting at a friend's wedding, but split soon due to the long distance romance. He then romanced his "Teen Mom 2" co-star Briana DeJesus, but their relationship ended in January 2018. He then rekindled his romance with Lauren and they welcomed their first child together, a son named Eli, in November 2018.
Javi is also a father to 4-year-old son Lincoln whom he shares with ex-wife Kailyn Lowry. The two got married from 2013 until 2016.
