AceShowbiz - The Fab Five is not going anywhere! Netflix has renewed one of its hit series "Queer Eye" for 2 more seasons. The Emmy-winning unscripted series has been given a fourth and fifth season on the streaming giant.
The official Instagram account of the series shared the exciting news on Tuesday, June 18. "Have you missed us? (We missed you too.) We're back in Kansas City for Season 4, July 19," so it wrote in the account.
"Note to self: Make no other plans but this July 19th," one excited fan wrote in the comment section. "Now we have to make another trip to KC!!!!!! (and get more bbq sauce)," another fan said.
While season 4 will see everyone's favorite the Fab Five returning to Kansas City, season 5 is set to feature them heading to Philadelphia. Season 5 will arrive sometime in 2020.
The reboot of Bravo's "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" made a fashionable debut on Netflix in 2018 to rave reviews. The first three seasons of "Queer Eye" have gained a 91% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes with Variety's Daniel D'Addario noting, " 'Queer Eye' was always fun TV, but, in ways that are realer than reality TV tends to get, it's now verging on great."
It stars five makeover experts consisting of Antoni Porowski (Food & Wine), Bobby Berk (Interior Design), Jonathan Van Ness (Grooming), Karamo Brown (Culture) and Tan France (Fashion). Executive produced by David Collins, Michael Williams and Rob Eric for Scout Productions, the show has Jennifer Lane attached as the showrunner and executive producer. They are joined by David George, Adam Sher, David Eilenberg and Jordana Hochman who serve as executive producers for ITV Entertainment.
