AceShowbiz - Given how long they have been dating, it's only natural for Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani to be close to each other's family. The No Doubt singer has proven it once again as she takes to Instagram Stories to post a sweet picture of her singer boyfriend and her father Dennis.

The photo, which appears to be taken in a backyard, shows an excited Blake giving Gwen's father a kiss on the cheek. Her father doesn't appear to be minding the country singer's affection as he smiles brightly to the camera. "I love my dad," Gwen writes on the sweet picture, along with a big red heart emoji.

Before sharing the photo, the blonde beauty paid tribute to her dad on Father's Day, sharing on Instagram a series of throwback pictures of her and her father. One photo showed a young Dennis holding a baby Gwen, while another photo was a selfie of the father-daughter duo at what looked like a carnival.

"Happy Father's Day to one of my favorite humans I know," she captioned the post. "[greatnesses] always there for me and my boys I love I w all my heart."

Gwen is currently preparing her return to "The Voice", replacing Adam Levine as a coach. Stopping by "The Talk" to discuss her new gig, the "Hollaback Girl" singer called Adam's departure "bittersweet", though she's excited to spend more time with Blake, who is a longtime coach on the NBC singing competition show.

"To think that [Adam's] not going to be there is like bittersweet. And plus, like, being between him and Blake, the amount of laughter, I would have to like stop and massage my face, because it would hurt," she said. "But it's going to be fun, it's going to be exciting. I mean, Blake's my best friend, so I get to hang out with him at work. I wanted to come back so bad. I mean, the show is so fun."
