AceShowbiz - Vicki Gunvalson appears to put aside her difference with Meghan King Edmonds to show her support that the latter needs the most in this difficult time. "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star has expressed her sympathy to the wife of Jim Edmonds in the wake of the former MLB star's cheating scandal.
Vicki took to Twitter on Saturday, June 15 to write, "@MeghanKEdmonds I'm so sorry. You are right, YOU did not deserve this." The 57-year-old posted the message in response to Meghan's blog post in which she opened up about her feelings amid Jim's alleged affair.
Vicky and Meghan famously feuded on the Bravo reality series. Meghan once said after season 10 of the show, "I have never been friends with Vicki and after last season I can promise I will never be friends with her."
Vicky also once said ill things about Meghan's marriage to Jim, predicting that it wouldn't last long. Meghan joked about Vicky's diss on Twitter in 2017, "The three years Vicki gave my marriage is almost up! Uh oh!" Vicky then clarified it, saying, "I think I actually gave it 5, and then retracted because it appears you and Jimmy are very happy!"
Vicky isn't the only Meghan's former co-star who has sent her well wishes amid her marital issues. "My heart hurts for you Meg. Wish I could give you a big hug," Tamra Judge wrote in the comment of Meghan's Instagram post, in which the latter posted, "Healing takes time."
"RHOC" star Lizzie Rovsek added, "Thinking of you Meg. Love you." Gretchen Rossi also commented on the post, "I'm so sorry you are going through this. Sending you all healing prayers."
Jim has admitted he "had a lapse in judgment" and "engaged in an inappropriate conversation" with his alleged mistress, but denied having any physical contact with the other woman. "Clearly, I made a very poor decision to expose myself and my family to this type of person. For this, I am truly sorry and sought forgiveness from my wife," he said in a statement released via Us Weekly last Thursday.
Responding to this, Meghan wrote on her blog that her husband confessed to her "that he had exchanged lewd photos with this woman over the course of several months," but claimed that "a physical relationship never existed." She added, "Do I believe him? I don't know. Because I don't trust him anymore. Physical or not, he still had an affair and he admits this to me."
"I'm a simple girl. I wanted a solid marriage. I'm as loyal as they come and I wanted the vows we made when we exchanged our rings to be acted upon. Now my wedding ring symbolizes fraud," she continued sharing. "I did nothing wrong, I don't deserve this. ... So what is so broken in him to propel him to do this to me? To us? It wasn't one mistake, one lapse in judgement."
