AceShowbiz - People are buzzing on social media about Sheck Wes, but not for a good reason. Hip-hop fans are accusing the 20-year-old rapper of abusing his former girlfriend India Love, after they abruptly split two weeks ago.
The speculation mounted after the 23-year-old socialite posted pictures on Instagram that showed her sporting what appears to be a bruised eye. India didn't say anything about her black eye, which she seemingly tried to cover with makeup, as she kept her post positive and captioned one of them, "blessed beyond measures."
That, however, didn't stop her followers from speculating about who gave her the black eye. As the timing appears to coincidence with her breakup from Sheck, many began to think that the rapper assaulted India, which possibly led to their split.
"Sheck done beat you up," one commented on India's post. Another concerned follower wrote, "this looks unhealthy." Someone else asked, "Seriously is your eye okay?"
While India has not responded to the inquiries, people seemed to relate India's apparent black eye to Sheck's alleged abusive behavior toward his ex-girlfriend Justine Skye. Back in 2018, the 23-year-old singer/model wrote on Twitter, "Taking a walk with my friends and my man and Sheck Wes (my abuser) and his friends decide to STALK US and attack my friends.. two cars full of n***as while he sat in the car like a b***h. You're pathetic sheck and you beat women. You hit your girl before me and you'll do it again."
She went on slamming the "Mo Bamba" hitmaker, "You're pathetic...and all the people defending you, ya whole b***h a** label.. everyone. You spreading lies about me. Moral of the story is, if you never put your hands on me.. you wouldn't be in this situation and you just keep making it worse."
Sheck denied Justine's claims at the time, posting on his own Twitter account, "I've chosen to remain silent until now out of respect for actual victims of abuse. But I cannot stand by while lies are repeatedly told about me." He continued claiming, "I never hit or beat any women and I did not beat up or jump anybody."
