AceShowbiz - Rapper Sheck Wes got into trouble with the law on Wednesday morning, May 20. The rapper was reportedly arrested on two felony charges after a traffic stop in New York City as authorities found a gun and drugs in his car.

During the search of his 2019 Lamborghini SUV, the "Mo Bamba" spitter was with three friends. He was pulled over for excessive tint on his windows.

It was said that police started further search as the vehicle reeked of marijuana. That was when they discovered a loaded 9mm Smith & Wesson pistol in a bag on the passenger side of the vehicle. Additionally, they found an undisclosed amount of marijuana.

Sheck and his three friends were allegedly all booked for felony possession of a loaded firearm and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. In addition, the rapper was given a ticket for driving without a valid driver's license.

However, his attorney later confirmed that the rapper has been released from custody. His case, meanwhile, was delayed to August.

Sheck has yet to address the arrest, but judging from his recent Twitter post it seemed like the rapper wasn't entirely fazzed by the legal trouble. He took to his account on Thursday, May 21 to share a picture of him posing on the street while wearing a blue-and-white beanie and surgical mask. "The scouts is not locked up wtf," so he captioned the snap.
