AceShowbiz - It's been two years since Fergie (Stacy Ferguson) and Josh Duhamel announced their split, and it looks like the former is finally ready to make the end of their marriage official. If reports from The Blast are to be believed, the former Black Eyed Peas member filed for divorce from her actor estranged husband on Friday, May 31 in a Pasadena court, California.
Details regarding the comment are currently unknown. Fergie's representative has declined to comment on the reports, while a rep for Josh did not immediately respond to request for comment.
Fergie and Josh, who have a 5-year-old son named Axl Duhamel together, began dating in September 2004 before getting married in an intimate ceremony in Malibu on January 10, 2009. The then-couple announced their separation in September 2017 after eight years of marriage.
"With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year. To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public," they said in a joint statement at the time. "We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family."
Following their split, the singer and the "Love, Simon" actor have remained friendly with each other as they continue to co-parent Axl. Fergie even called Josh a "good co-parenting partner" during an interview, while the latter dished last year, "It's going really well. We have a great relationship. We really do. She's a great mother." He added, "All we want is the best for our son, so it's a bit of a juggling act but we're both grown ups who can handle a lot. And he's happy. That's the main thing."
Fergie has remained private about her romance life after the split, while Josh recently broke up from his girlfriend of five months, Eiza Gonzalez.
