Childish Gambino, Will Smith, and Kesha (Ke$ha) have been honoured with prizes ahead of the 2019 Webby Awards.
"This Is America" earned rapper Gambino, who acts under his real name Donald Glover, the Music Video title, while it was also voted the winner of the People's Voice Award for Music Video.
Kesha picked up the People's Voice Award for Best Editing (Video) for her "I Need a Woman to Love" promo, while Chance The Rapper's appearance as a cab driver in the Undercover Lyft ad series claimed the Branded Entertainment Viral (Video) accolade.
Meanwhile, Will Smith's 50th birthday The Jump event last September (18), during which he livestreamed his bungee jump from a helicopter over the Grand Canyon, picked up the Webby Award for Events & Live Streams (Video), and comedian Billy Eichner's "Billy on the Street" episode with Emma Stone scored the Comedy: Longform (Video) title.
Awards for comedian Hasan Minhaj, rapper Tierra Whack, and actress Issa Rae, who was declared Webby Video Person of the Year, were previously announced.
The awards, which celebrate Internet achievement, will be handed out by officials at the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences at a ceremony in New York on 13 May. Actress Jenny Slate will serve as the night's host.
