The controversy aside, the Sunday, April 7 ceremony featured several memorable performances, including one from Chrissy Metz, who made her TV singing debut that night.

AceShowbiz - Besides serving as the host at the 2019 ACM Awards, Reba McEntire also hit the stage to deliver a performance for her latest single "Freedom". While both audience and viewers at home were enjoying her empowering rendition at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, April 7, one particular person's reaction caught people's attention in a bad way.

The person in question was Kacey Musgraves, whom many think was looking bored when the veteran singer delivered a pitch-perfect performance. Due to this, Kacey was dubbed disrespectful by a lot of people. "Seriously... what the hell is wrong with Kacey Musgraves. Reba's performing and she acts like she's watching someone pick up their dry cleaning," one said. "Have a little respect... at least for someone who paved the way for you."

"Was it me or did kacey musgraves looked bored when reba was slaying that stage like a true country music legend. everyone else was up, dancing and singing," another said, to which one other replied, "It wasn't just you that noticed. Pissed me off." Someone else chimed in, "Not only bored but that was some serious snark on her face."

One social media user urged the "High Horse" singer to "tune her attitude up a notch with some personality and touch of respect. You ain't the queen yet child."

Kacey's reaction aside, there were other memorable performances during the annual ceremony. Among them was Chrissy Metz's performance. Premiering her song "I'm Standing with You" from her upcoming movie "Breakthrough", the "This Is Us" star was accompanied by Carrie Underwood, Lauren Alaina, Mickey Guyton and Maddie & Tae.

Receiving standing ovation during her set was New Female Artist of the Year winner Ashley McBride, who belted out "Girl Going Nowhere". Delivering a powerful performance of the track the songstress was armed with only a guitar. She later took the stage once again for a joint set with Eric Church, offering a rendition of the latter's song "The Snake".

Other performers at the annual event included Luke Combs, Blake Shelton as well as Little Big Town.
