Though refusing to name names, the singer previously known as Marina and the Diamonds tells the female dressmaker to 'be less dumb' as she vents her anger through several posts on social media.

AceShowbiz - Welsh popstar Marina Diamandis has slammed a fashion designer for photoshopping pictures of her at a recent awards bash.

The "I Am Not a Robot" singer, who used to perform as Marina and the Diamonds, told fans on Twitter that she had worn a recent outfit to support the unnamed female dressmaker, but spotted a picture of her that had been digitally altered to make her legs look thinner on their Instagram page.

Despite fans asking her to name and shame, the star refused, writing that her outrage was against the "internalised misogyny" that women have about their bodies.

"I wore a designer's clothes to an award show recently to support her," she wrote on Twitter on Tuesday, February 26. "The next day she posted a photo of me on Instagram + had photoshopped my legs and thighs to look like literal sticks. This is internalised misogyny in full action. For f**k's sake. Do BETTER. Be less dumb."

Continuing with her tweets, the 33-year-old added: "If you want me to wear your clothing, don't photoshop my wonderful hourglass body shape as if it's is unacceptable."

"I didn't feel hurt by this. It was about her, not me. But 10 years ago I would have been. I probably would've reposted the photoshopped picture! It feels super irresponsible & unkind to distort a woman's figure for what is essentially someone else's vanity."
