Sharing the heartbreaking news on her social media account, the twin sister of Tia Mowry praises Grandma Clo for being the strongest person she knew.

AceShowbiz - Not long after the sudden passing of her teenage niece, Tamera Mowry suffered yet another lost in her family. Over the first weekend of January 2019, the co-host of "The Real" made use of her social media to pay tribute to her beloved grandmother who passed away after a fierce battle with cancer.

The 40-year-old actress shared the sad news for the first time on Saturday, January 5. Posting a photo of her hand holding her grandmother's, she wrote in the caption, "Grandma Clo ... You are the strongest person I know. You are the matriarch of our family. Every good thing trickles down from you. You amaze me every day with your strength and unconditional love. Your obedience and love towards our Heavenly Father is admirable. Love you so so so much. #cancersucks."

The following day, the former "Sister, Sister" star uploaded another photo of herself with her smiling grandmother. "You are with the Lord now. You fought a long long fight," she penned alongside the wedding photo. "Your wish was to be around your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ariah, Aden, Adam and I miss you so much. I love you love you. Till we meet again."

Tamera wasn't the only one mourning the death of her grandmother. Her twin sister, Tia Mowry, scrawled how thankful she was for being able to see Grandma Clo one last time before her passing. "You went on to see the Lord this morning and I’m so happy I got to see you," she noted on her own tribute post. "I thank God. I love you grandma, I love you. My heart is broken."

Tamera's husband, Adam Housley, also expressed his grief through an Instagram post. "I will always remember and cherish this day. Granny is now with Alaina and all those we cherish and miss so much," he scribbled. "My grandmas are now all together and I know they are telling stories and watching over us. From day 1 you accepted me, loved me, supported me, pinched my arm and even had a beer with me. You loved my wife, your family and all of your grandkids with unconditional love. Thank you. Love you. Rest."

Alaina. God, we miss you. Yesterday you were supposed to come home. The questions of why consume my mind. But I must hold on to the fact that our Lord is sovereign. The reality of you not being here hits stronger today. I miss your giggles, I miss your smile, I miss the way you would roll your eyes when you heard someone say something crazy. I miss the way you would so gracefully scoop up Ariah and Aden, and the way you took their hands and walked away to play. You had a heart pure with love and kindness. Oh what this world needs more of now. My children loved you. I loved you. I know I have a guardian angel with me now. But selfishly I want you here with me. Until we meet and sing again.⁣ ⁣ Ironically, 6 years ago today the senseless shooting of #sandyhookelementary occurred. Praying for the families and individuals who have had to endure and survive senseless gun violence. The world moves on. We don’t.

Grandma Clo's passing came just months after Tamera's niece, Alaina Housley, was killed in mass shooting at Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, California. In mid-December 2018, the actress remembered Alaina in a heartbreaking tribute that partially read, "I know I have a guardian angel with me now. But selfishly I want you here with me. Until we meet and sing again."
