AceShowbiz - Cardi B can't hide what she's feeling inside despite cutting a carefree look in her first appearance after announcing her split from Offset. An eyewitness says the raptress "wasn't her usual" self when she hit E11EVEN in Miami for the annual Art Basel international art fair on Thursday, December 6.

The "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker sported a rainbow-colored wig and see-through long-sleeve black minidress with a black strapless bra. She ditched her $500,000 eight-carat tear-shaped engagement ring which she had been wearing after Offset proposed to her in October 2017.

The 26-year-old star was spotted dancing and twerking with her crew, but the fellow partygoer says "she looked sad." The onlooker tells PEOPLE that audience members were told Cardi would be performing at the event, but "she wasn' singing or anything."

The source says Cardi instead mouthed the words to her songs as they were played. "You could tell she wasn't her usual energetic self," the onlooker adds. "It's like she was trying to put on a good face but she looked sad."

Cardi was joined by pals Bad Bunny and Teyana Taylor during the night out. Another eyewitness begs to differ, telling ET Online that the Bronx femcee "was definitely in good spirits" as she was seen dancing and laughing with her friends. "She was smiling and dancing the entire time. She came with a big group of friends and they were taking pics and videos of them rapping along to her songs together," the source claims.

Cardi announced she and her husband Offset are no longer together on Tuesday, December 4 amid cheating allegations against the Migos rapper. A leaked text exchange revealed Offset wanted to have a threesome with Cuban Doll and her friend Summer Bunni in late June, when Cardi was 8 months pregnant with their daughter Kulture.

The estranged couple's friend Ray J recently weighed in on their split. Met by TMZ at Craig's in WeHo on Wednesday night, he said that he wishes the best for them and hopes that they get back together.
