AceShowbiz - Laila Ali has sent a pedestrian to the hospital after she accidentally hit him with her car on Tuesday, December 4. Deputy Schrader with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirms to Entertainment Tonight that the former professional boxer was driving through the parking lot of a shopping center in Calabasas, California, on Tuesday afternoon when she backed into him with her car.

Paramedics and LA County Sheriff's deputies quickly responded to the scene. The victim, an elderly man, was reportedly seriously injured. TMZ obtained pictures from the scene of the accident, showing the man lying on the ground while being treated by medics. He was later taken to a hospital by ambulance and is currently in stable condition.

Meanwhile, Laila remained at the scene and appeared to be cooperative. She was pictured speaking to Sheriff's deputies while staying in her car. The daughter of boxing legend boxer Muhammad Ali was not arrested or cited as the Sheriff's Department is still investigating this as an accident.

Laila and her reps have not addressed the incident.

Earlier Tuesday, the former WBC, WIBA, IWBF and IBA champion shared a throwback photo of her boxing practice with her late father. She left the image captionless.
